Dear Students,
Online Applications for the Exchange & Erasmus programs for the 2022-2023 academic year will be available during 30 March – 13 April 2022 on https://portal.ua.gov.tr/ . You may fill the application form via e-government system.
Who can apply:
- AGU Students
- You should be at least first year students and completed at least one semester at AGU (Prep School Students are not eligible to apply)
- CGPA: At least 2.20/4.0 for undergraduate students and 2.5/4.0 for Master and Doctoral students
- For study mobility, you must have AGU course load of minimum 30 ECTS for the semester in which you plan to participate Erasmus Programme
- 4th year students may apply only for Erasmus Traineeship
Selection Criteria:
- %50 CGPA + % 50 English Proficiency Exam
- 10 points will be added to the overall score of students with disabilities.
- 5 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are the childrens of martyries and veterans.
- 10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students for each participation of Erasmus Program
- 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they go to the country of their nationality.
- 10 points will be added to the overall score of the students who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law and 5395 Child protection law.
- For the students who are selected for the mobility: 5 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they do not attend the meetings / trainings organized by the higher education institution without excuses (if the student applies again for Erasmus)
- 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they withdraw from the program after the given deadline for withdrawal.
- 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they apply for both internship and study mobility together (the student will decide for which mobility type we will reduce the point)
- 5 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students if they do not attend English Exam without an excuse.
- 10 points will be added to the overall score of students submitting internship acceptance letter.
- Internships to develop digital skills (DOTs) are prioritized: +5 points
- After you are selected as Erasmus candidate, if the quota for grant is not available, you may use the Erasmus status as a Zero Grant Student.
- Students 'studying in a double major' can apply for mobility from only one major in the same application period.
NOTE: Additional Erasmus Grant Support
Additional Grant Support may be provided to disadvantaged participants in addition to the grant they are entitled to. In order to be able to grant the said grant, the disadvantaged participant is defined as an individual with limited economic and social opportunities and who fits into the following sub-categories.
1) Those who are subject to Law No. 2828 (Those who have a protection, care or shelter decision by the Ministry of Family and Social Services pursuant to Law No. 2828)
2) Students for whom protection, care or accommodation decision has been taken within the scope of Child Protection Law No. 5395
3) Those who receive an orphan's pension
4) Children of Martyrs / Veterans
5) Those who are granted a pension for themselves or their families (the student must submit a document proving that he or she has received financial support from municipalities, public institutions and organizations (Ministry, Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations, General Directorate of Foundations, Kızılay, AFAD when making the Erasmus application is sufficient.)
You should fill the online application form and submit your latest transcript which is taken in between application dates to Erasmus Office untill 13 April at 17.00 (Applications will be opened on the 30th of March, 2022.
After applications, there will be English Proficiency Exam on 20th of April, 2022.
After you complete the language exam successfully, It’s time to choose the university for study mobility. Please check our bilateral agreement list carefully and make your choices accordingly for study mobility. And also, time to get an accaptance letter from any institution related with your department for internship mobility. Yet, institutions listed below are not acceptable for internship mobility;
- European Union Institutions and Agencies
- Institutions conducting EU programs such as National Agencies
The Erasmus grants:
First and second group countries: Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Cyprus, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Greece, Ireland 600 Euro for study/750 Euro for internship.
Third group countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey 450 Euro for study/600 Euro for internship.
